Our Story: Born in the Mountains
In 2000, Mr. Bhuwan Singh Rawat started Rawat Travels with a simple intention: to build a stable livelihood for his family and create his own path in the mountains he has always called home. What began with a single vehicle and steady hard work slowly grew into a trusted local travel service known for honesty, reliability, and genuine mountain experience.
Our roots stay anchored in these hills. For years, the Rawat family has guided travellers through the Himalayas, learning every route, understanding the mountain weather, and building strong relationships with local communities. For us, this is more than a business. It’s our responsibility and a reflection of who we are.
In 2024, his nephew Pankaj Rawat joined the company after twelve years in the advertising industry as an art director. Bringing creative insight and a fresh perspective, he stepped in to take the family business forward while keeping its original values intact. His goal is clear: grow Rawat Travels into a modern, well-managed mountain travel service with a fleet of 40+ vehicles within the next five years.
